ancient traditions could explain the resurgence in its popularity in recent times. Often dealing with themes of isolation, folklore, paganism and the
dark aspects of nature, folk horror provides rich soil to grow a sense of fear and foreboding. The panel will discuss what makes a novel folk horror and some of their favourite elements and examples of the genre.
