We have a Bursary (Scholarship) Fund to supplement the cost of attending the World Fantasy Convention. We will consider applications just before each membership rate rise, so if you are not successful you can still purchase a membership at that rate. We are particularly keen to hear from people from underrepresented communities who would not otherwise be able to apply. The number and value of Bursary awards will depend on donations received.
The first application deadline is 1st August 2024 (as we don’t think we will have much in the fund in the first month of release). Applications received after this date will be considered for the following deadline.
Anyone, individuals and organisations, who wish to donate to the Bursary scheme, can do so via the website shop. Alternatively, you can email us enquiries@WorldFantasy2025.co.uk to arrange an different payment method. All donations, however large or small are very appreciated.
