El McInerney is the author of the epic fantasy series, The Unraveling. The first book, Soulstealer was a semi-finalist in the SPFBOX self-published fantasy competition. The prequel, Overlord, was funded by a successful Kickstarter and has been released. She has a PhD in Spanish Literature and Cultural Studies from Trinity College Dublin and a background as a teacher, editor, political activist, and musician.
