Bursary (Scholarship) Applications

We have a Bursary (Scholarship) Fund to supplement the cost of attending the World Fantasy Convention. We will consider applications just before each membership rate rise, so if you are not successful you can still purchase a membership at that rate. We are particularly keen to hear from people from underrepresented communities who would not otherwise be able to apply. The number and value of Bursary awards will depend on donations received.

We have not had a lot of funds donated. Please do still apply, but we may only be able to offer to cover the cost of membership (online or in person), so please be clear on your application if this would be helpful.

Anyone, individuals and organisations, who wish to donate to the Bursary scheme, can do so via the website shop. Alternatively, you can email us enquiries@WorldFantasy2025.co.uk to arrange an different payment method. All donations, however large or small are very appreciated.
