Sophie Burnham (they/them) is the award-winning author of genre-defying and unapologetically queer speculative fiction. Their debut novel Sargassa won the Sidewise Award and was shortlisted for the Locus. Its sequel Bloodtide is now available. They have been a participating writer in—and the script doctor behind—multiple studio film and television projects. Sophie currently lives in Edinburgh.
