Liv Rainey-Smith creates art through xylography, the practice of carving and printing wood. She finds inspiration in early European prints, esoteric traditions, folklore, weird fiction, and the natural world. Rainey-Smith's woodcuts illustrate The Starry Wisdom Library: Catalogue of the Greatest Occult Book Auction of All Time, and are the focus of her story in WFA finalist anthology The Dagon Collection (both PS Publishing). Rainey-Smith is also honored to be a finalist in the artist category.
