Australian writer and editor Jason Nahrung is the author of four novels – all involving vampires in an Australian setting — and more than 20 short stories across the gamut of speculative fiction. His most recent long fiction is the novella Cruel Nights, inspired by Heart's Brigade album. He also has a strong interest in climate fiction, which led him to complete a PhD in creative writing from The University of Queensland.
