Barbara Cottrell gave up her career as a professor to pursue her true passion: writing weird fiction. Her first book, Darkness Below, received Best First Book from Indie Reader, three gold medals from the Book Fest, and a silver medal from Readers’ Favorite. The two other books in her series, Thin Places and Shadow Zone, have been praised for their “powerful potion of cosmic horror, urban fantasy, and romantic tension”. When she’s not exploring the darkness, she makes wine with her husband.
