Anand Gandhi’s debut Ship of Theseus sparked a new wave in Indian cinema, named among 15 “life-changing” films by The Critics’ Circle. His films have won top honors at Toronto, Venice, and Tokyo, with global releases via Disney, Netflix, and Prime. With co-creator Zain Memon, he’s building MAYA—a vast universe blending sci-fi, fantasy, and mythology with South Asian philosophy and cutting-edge ideas from science, policy, and economics.
