Alison Baker is a lecturer at University of East London in initial teacher education. She is a researcher in Children’s Fantasy Fiction. She has published on girls’ horror comics, punk and anarchy in Michael di Larrabeiti's The Borribles and social class in Harry Potter and hosts the podcast Fantasy Book Swap.
